I am about to get shit on AGAIN for voicing my opinions.
Before this "war" started, I was talking on a message board about how I believed the war was wrong. One woman called me ignorant. Well, I may be a lot of things, but ignorant is not one of them. I know a lot about politics and foreign policy, and I am not a wife that just listens to what my husband's commander says and wrap myself with the flag and call everyone else anti-american. This woman is a straight up bitch. I could care less if you agree with me. But don't call me names because I disagree with you. It's childish and demeaning.
So now...I opened my mouth again on the boards about the Jessica Lynch matter. I said that I don't think she is a hero. She did the job she signed up to do. It's unfortunate what she went through, but it is part of ther job. I don't think simply being in the military makes you worthy of being called a hero.
So now this bitch is starting to talk shit about me for saying that. How she's offended by that statement. Well, it's my opinion. Get the hell over it. I don't start shit because I disagree with things she believes. Hell, my husband is in the military, and I don't consider him a hero. He goes in every day and does a damn good job, but I would not be any more or less proud of him if he were a civilian. I believe that choosing an occupation does not make you a hero....acts of heroism make you a hero.
So....we shall see where this leads. I freaking hate this chick.
