Woo hoo, I actually got to sleep in a bit today, well, until a telemarketer woke me up. Stupid do not call list obviously not doing its job.
I get to work with a temp tonight. I heard from the grapevine that he is always looking for a new project. So I will definitely make use of that.
I'm hoping to finish working on weeding the filmstrips tonight...only the NC and Disney collections left. I've kept far too many, in my opinion, but I know people will complain if I ditch the entire collection. So hopefully they will get used. Anyway, I'll go back in a few years and maybe I'll be able to get rid of them completely.
My husband is so funny. He called a few minutes ago, and when I picked up the phone, he said "What are you doing home?" to which I responded, "What are you doing calling if you don't think I'm home?" ;-) He called to tell me that he has been drinking coffee. Now, that may not seem like a big deal, but for him to make me a pot in the morning is a huge thing. He doesn't mind the smell, but can't fathom taking a sip. Well, it's not real coffee, some of that fake vanilla cappuchino stuff and he mixed in a little hot chocolate mix as well. Amazing the things he will do to keeep warm while in the field.
So now I'm teasing him that we'll have to buy a big coffeepot because pretty soon he'll be drinking it black, and he'll be hitting my iced tea soon, as well. The thought of black coffee still grosses him out though. I love to pick on him. ;-)
Speaking of coffee, I'm off to make some so I can face the day.
