Well today was my first day as a real live actual librarian.
I had orientation all morning. Lots of info about health benefits and 401Ks that doesn't make much sense is floating in my head.
I've met tons of people and don't remember any of their names.
The rest of the day? I pawed through all the junk in my office, tried to figure out what the hell all the ordering invoices meant, and read book reviews.
And I have a program Thursday.
All in all...kinda boring, but not all bad.
I just discovered that the paper I *thought* had the due date moved to next week was actually due yesterday. Oops. And I haven't written a word. Double oops.
I'm going to eat some Carolina Barbeque and Sourdough, have some chocolate, then frantically write a VERY rough draft of a paper.
